Those magnificent men and their flying machines! During the course of the show you will be able to see how it 'should' be done.
With a variety of disciplines and model types being flown by some of our top RC pilots, prepare to be entertained, impressed and astounded by their antics.
Some of the pilots we hope will be able to fly at the show are as follows and as always, all flights are subject to conditions, serviceability of aircraft and pilot's availability.

This form should be used to express your interest in taking part in the Long Marston Model Air Show on the 3th – 4th June 2017. Successful applications will be notified and contacted for additional information nearer to the time of the event (please detail one model per form).
USEING PILOTS APPLICATION FORMS WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF ENTERING THE AIR SHOW WITHOUT PAYING THE ENTRANCE FEE, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, A LIST AS BEEN COMPLETED FROM 2016 AIR SHOW, ALL PASS'S WILL BE CHECKED TOGETHER WITH PILOTS INSURANCE AT THE GATE.
Entry and Camping passes will be issued to successful pilots and flight line helpers when booking and slotting arrangements have been finalised.
All models over 20Kg must have the required CAA exemption, a copy of which must be provided with the completed form. The original must then be presented to the Flight Line Director at the event; models may be weighed as part of the compliance and safety checks during our booking in and processing procedures.
Please note that in line with LMA, BMFA, and CAA recommendations, show pilots will only be permitted to fly on 2.4GHz with CE approved equipment, pilots under 17 years of age must produce a (B certificate with their BFMA insurance) before they will be allowed to fly at the Air Show.

Pilot applications are currently being received and we will continue to receive pilot application forms until May 7th 2017 after which we will schedule the flying slots and inform successful pilots, send out passes etc.
